There are so many physical benefits to exercise during postpartum from regaining core strength, and pelvic floor strength, reducing aches/pains, reducing the risk of injury, weight loss, and shaping and toning your body. However, most importantly exercise has a massive effect on our mental health. Being a mum is very hard and can be very stressful, exercise can be a useful tool to help burn off stress and gain mental clarity.

If you have completed a course of our Fit Mama and Baby rehab classes and are ready to challenge your body further then our Fit Mama and Baby circuit classes are a natural progression. The classes will combine strength-based exercises; we will teach you how to lift safely to protect the pelvic floor and core.

As well as working on your physical and mental health you will have the opportunity to meet other like-minded mothers. Bring your baby along and have fun in a safe, friendly community.

Our Fit Mama and Baby circuit classes are suitable for those women who have completed a course in Fit Mama and baby rehab classes and those who have no pelvic floor or core dysfunction. If you are unsure if this class is suitable for you please get in touch with Mari Carmen Fitness.

If you are new to class you will be asked to complete an assessment form to ensure Mari Carmen Fitness has all the essential information for you to exercise safely. You will be asked to attend the class 10 minutes earlier so Mari Carmen can check for any Diastasis Recti. A great class to return safely to exercise post having a baby.
